Signed Sealed Delivered...

The lease is signed, the designs & plans are finalised, the menus are being developed.  2011 will be the year Swanston Street Melbourne gets a little gift.  We like to call him Mister Close.  We are super excited and can't wait to see him take shape over the next few months all in preparation for a March opening.  It will be worth the wait. 

Our brand rising...

It is December and Mister Close just got his first identity.  Thanks to the clever craft of Fi we now have snippets of our emerging brand.  Pete and I love him and can see Mister Close adorning the coffee cups of suited city commuters, picky shoppers and generally people with taste all over Melbourne.  We hope you like him. 

Introducing Mister Close.

In the beginning...  an idea emerged from 2 friends of 28 years, an un assuming arcade near the corner of Swanston and Bourke Streets, Melbourne and the ambition to open one of the best cafes this part of town has ever seen.  With Russell & George Architects on our team, plans are starting to form.  This idea will be a reality in under 3 months...  Hold on, it's going to be a nice ride and even better cafe experience.
